Our Client is a busy and leading water utility contractor in the South West. They are recruiting for a Customer Services Administrator in Evercreech to work as part of a busy customer services team dedicated to act as the first point of contact for developers for the installation of water mains and service connections. The role will involve primarily working on paperwork generated by “completed” connections. You will be responsible for checking each completed job to ensure correct data has been captured, cross referencing details against drawings and photos; recording meter information and technical data on a spreadsheet to submit to the Water Company; keeping records of connections using databases/Excel; answering e-mail & telephone queries; assisting with bookings and connections when required. Our Client is seeking a capable and organised Administrator with attention to detail with accuracy; an ability to work well under pressure and prioritise workload; an ability to use MS Word/Office/Excel/Database and a willingness to train on new in-house technology systems. The successful candidate will be a responsible team player willing to help others within the team. Due to the semi-rural location candidates will need to be car owner/drivers. Free parking is available. Working days and hours are Monday to Friday, 09.00 to 17.00 with a 30-minute lunchbreak daily (a 37.5 hour working week). The hourly pay rate for this assignment is £10.00 per hour. Initially this role will be offered as a full-time temporary assignment for a 3-month period to cover for long term absence within the team. Following the initial 3 months, there may be the possibility of the role becoming permanent, but this possibility would be reviewed closer to the time.
