Our Client is a vehicle repair specialist and in September 2021 they are relocating their business to a new premises in Glastonbury. As part of this expansion, they have an opportunity for a Receptionist & Office Administrator. This is a full-time, permanent role with working days & hours of Monday to Friday, 9am to 6pm with a 1-hour unpaid lunch break daily. A 40-hour working week. The annual salary for this post will be £21,840 (£10.50 per hour). Joining this busy and friendly team of 8 across both the office and the garage/workshop, duties will include front of house reception, meeting & greeting, answering the phone and dealing with enquiries & queries, booking in & managing a busy diary, entering data onto the software system including some financial administration such as purchase & sales ledger, taking payments using the card machine facility, administering marketing to promote the business, filing and keeping office systems in order and (on occasions) picking up customers and delivering finished vehicles back to them. To successfully undertake this role, you’ll need good communication skills (face to face, via e-mail & over the telephone), good computer skills including Word & Excel and an ability to learn new systems, accurate keyboard skills for inputting data, while accounting &/or bookkeeping experience is not essential you’ll need to be accurate & numerate to undertake some financial administration and a basic understanding of bookkeeping would be helpful. Lastly, Applicants will need to be car owners, drivers. This role will be suited to a pleasantly confident, outgoing candidate with great people skills.
