Description:
Our Client is a busy and leading water utility contractor in the Southwest. They are recruiting for a Services Team Administrator in Evercreech, Somerset to join their customer services team dedicated to act as the first point of contact for developers for the installation of water mains and service connections. As part of the Customer Services Team, you will be responsible for supporting developers with scheme requirements and managing customer expectations. Ensuring that water mains / service connections (and the processes supporting these connections) are upheld and improved where possible. Duties and responsibilities will include: ensuring the correct processes are followed for the processing of mains and services booking requests, meter installations, snagging and general queries; creation of Job on EWorks planning system for Site Operatives to follow and complete, ensuring data capture and accuracy; obtain drawings from CAD Team and attaching them to the jobs to confirm connection location, the correct pipe material, and measurements; ensure connections are processed within the set service level agreed; advising inspection and connection dates to the incumbent water authority; obtaining Certifications prior to service connections being undertaken; arranging payments with accountancy team for service connections at the time of booking; dispatch jobs on EWorks planning system once job is checked for accuracy; check all completed jobs contain the correct data and match EWorks details, photos of meter installations are uploaded, and forms are checked and completed on the planning system; authorise plot connection and snagging jobs on e-works; reporting connection and meter installation details to the incumbent water authority, ensuring data captured is correct before submission; filing of records accurately whether electronic or paper based; reporting on the status of service and mains connections on schemes or rebooked jobs or aborted/cancelled visits; liaising with site agents, water authorities, regional managers, finance, procurement, and site operatives to ensure smooth running of service connections. Our Client is seeking a customer focused, methodical, and very organised Administrator with: data accuracy and attention to detail; self-motivation to reach deadlines; an ability to promote a constant culture towards quality and service; excellent friendly, positive and professional telephone manner; initiative and a proactive approach; an ability to think, communicate and present information clearly and concisely; good coping skills, focus and the ability to work in a fast-moving industry; an ability to work in a team and as a team; the ability to work and communicate effectively with all levels of staff from Directors to Site Operatives – both internally and externally; an ability to use MS Word/Outlook/Excel/Database and an aptitude to learn new in-house systems (with training). Due to the semi-rural location candidates will need to be car owner/drivers. Free parking is available. Working days and hours are Monday to Friday, 09.00 to 17.00 with a 30-minute unpaid lunchbreak daily (a 37.5 hour working week). The hourly pay rate for this assignment is £11.28 per hour. Initially this role will be offered as a full-time temporary assignment for a 12-week temporary to permanent trial period. For the right candidate, this assignment has the potential to become a permanent role, direct with the Client and the status of the assignment will be reviewed in advance of the first twelve weeks of temporary service.
