Our Client is a trailblazing district council with an ever-growing track record of innovation and achievement and with strong ambitions. Their aim is to build a fairer, greener, and more vibrant district that values their distinctive local towns. Situated in Shepton Mallet, they currently employ 188 staff. Their small but busy HR team are supporting the organisation through a significant amount of change and require a Part-time Admin Assistant to join their busy team on a temporary basis until 31st March 2023. The candidate being sought will be able to work accurately, efficiently and to competing deadlines; be happy to work remotely (IT kit will be provided); possess excellent IT skills – Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and SharePoint; be able to use Agresso for weekly invoicing and raising purchase orders; be able to follow process and procedures and share those with staff; be highly organised, with strong attention to detail and able to prioritise competing demands, possess excellent verbal and written communication skills; possess excellent interpersonal skills. A HR background is preferred but not essential. The hourly pay rate for this assignment is £10.36 with 22.2 weekly working hours to be worked within 09.00 to 17.00, Monday to Friday. For the right candidate there can be flexibility as to how the hours are worked to fit around other commitments such as school or caring responsibilities. Plus, free car parking at the offices in central Shepton Mallet. |
